Kindergarten Teacher, Murdered in Orani, Bataan


ORANI, BATAAN – A teacher from Brgy. Doña, Orani, Bataan was found bloodstained inside their house on the night of November 27. The victim has been identified as Lhie Lanie Diego, a 28-year-old teacher at Doña Elementary School. Police stated that Diego was found lying on the floor wearing only her underwear at the crime scene. Unfortunately, the suspect was able to escape.
Residents have named the killer as Joshua “Amos” Villamor a fellow resident of Brgy. Doña. According to Diego’s aunt, the victim was about to be raped by Villamor and when she tried to fight for her life, Amos found a knife and stabbed the teacher to death. Diego was brought to the hospital but was declared dead upon arrival. According to reports, the victim had a huge cut on the neck and was stabbed 14 times.
Diego’s husband who is also a teacher was not on their house when the crime happened.
Reports said that Villamor was not a stranger for the victim and her family. They also added that Villamor was once imprisoned after being accused of rape. However, his case was dismissed.
Meanwhile, Diego’s friends and relatives are asking Facebook users to spread the photo of the suspect who has not been captured yet until now.
Earlier this month, a nun and a teacher at Sienna College in Hermosa, Bataan were also allegedly murdered by the school’s care taker who was accused as the prime suspect. People of Bataan, especially women, are being advised to be aware of these killings and to be more observant as much as possible.
